Meet Cloud (Aries)! He came to the shelter through no fault of his own and is ready for a fresh start. His former family described him as friendly, sweet, gentle, and goofy — and that loving personality truly shines through.Cloud is 3 years old, weighs 67.6lbs, and is already altered, which means he’s ready to go home today. He is housebroken and comfortable being crated, making him an easy transition into a new home. He has previously lived with other dogs and was exposed to infants and young children, doing well with them. He especially enjoys running and playing.While he may take a little time to warm up, once he bonds with you, he’ll happily stay right by your side. On walks, Cloud is affectionate and confident. He’s easy to leash, attentive to his handler, and unreactive to other dogs. He walks gently and checks in often. He knows “sit” and even seemed to know “paw” — just in adorable slow motion. Being food motivated, he’s eager to learn and please.In the yard, he loves to run and play, showing off his fun, energetic side. He’s a bit camera shy, but in person, he’s a stunning boy with the cutest head tilt. He’s also easy to return to his kennel after outings, showing his cooperative nature.Cloud (Aries) is settling nicely into his short-term foster home! He has had no accidents so far, showing great housetraining habits and an easy routine. When left to relax, Cloud is perfectly content snoozing away on the couch. He has a calm, low-to-medium energy level that makes him an easy companion around the house. On walks, he’s mostly focused on sniffing and taking in the world at his own pace. He does a nice job ignoring other dogs and enjoys exploring without much fuss. He’s currently working on “get up” and is eager to continue learning.Cloud hasn’t met new visitors yet, but he is comfortable and relaxed with his foster’s husband. He also loves to snuggle and truly enjoys being near his people.One of his favorite things? His stuffed seahorse — it’s clearly a prized possession.Cloud (Aries) will need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.Cloud (Aries) is a sweet, well-rounded boy who offers both playful energy and gentle companionship. He’s ready to bring love, loyalty, and a little goofiness to his forever home. He is currently in the comfort of a foster home.
