On Feb 9, 2025 after waiting in Rescue for 11 years and 7 months Rookie McGee was finally adopted. God Bless the Earth Angels that adopt Senior Dogs.
Rookie McGee is a 10 year old DOB: 9/30/2013 healthy senior neutered male Border Collie. Rookie is a sweet heart that bats his eyelashes at you! He is a sit in the lap and be petted pup and loves the comfort of home. He is cat infatuated. And will sit and watch a cat all day long. He doesn't chase or herd them, he just watches them which can disturb some cats. He is all people friendly and kid friendly. Other dog friendly unless the other dog is aggressive. Rookie is just looking for a comfortable quite retirement home where he will live out his life happy.
