Lola was most likely abandoned in a subdivision, as she stayed in one place running from people trying to feed her. Once she felt she could trust us she gave her all. That says a lot about her personality.
Personality: Lola has been a wonderful houseguest, getting on well with all the other dogs. Lola would be perfect in a one dog home. She enjoys playing with her person more than other dogs; but enjoys a good game of tug if she can coerce a friend to play. Lola loves frisbee with her person. She uses the dog door and is very reliable indoors. No accidents and no destruction other than squeaky toys. She loves her quiet walks, is obedient and obeys 'leave it' when encountering the neighborhood squirrels. Lola is very loving but not a band-aid dog. She is a quiet girl and a real sweetheart!
Health: She was underweight but has filled out and put on a nice shiny coat. She is HW-, vaccinated and spayed. She went through a period of skin issues but working with a homeopath resolved this issue and she is a beautiful, happy, gentle girl.
Lola would be a great dog for kids as she does not jump and is a small girl but likes to play. Please contact nod2016dog@gmail.com for more information.
