Meet Michonne! Our Warrior Princess who fears all at first but owns the biggest heart full of compassion, love and aspiration toward every human she meets. It just takes her a minute to shake the fear away.
I truly am not sure of her breed. She has fluffy thick short coat, smooshed short snout. Picture's do not do this gorgeous girl justice. She is stunningly in person. Almost as beautiful as her personality.
Maybe she has Shar-pei, Chow, staffy, possibly old English bulldog, and some black lab mix ???? Your guess is as good as mine. What I do know is she is an amazing dog and would be perfect for just about anyone who will keep in mind she needs a minute to gain trust and feel safe.
Michonne is reserved/unsure when meeting new people but that lasts like 10.5 seconds. Feed her anything and she loves you FOREVER! She's very food motivated and falls hard for anyone who will feed her. To say she's enjoy treat and is EXTREMLY food enthusiastic is a understatement. She is pretty good on leash, awesome during car rides, house and crate trained, and knows all her basic training commands to a T!
Michonne would be ok with children as long as the proper intro steps are taken and they share food! BUT..... I feel older children be best as they can comprehend her needs better. No wild unmanageable little shits please. I feel it would hold her back from settling in.
Michonne is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped, neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention.

We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important.
Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.
