Meet Teddy
Teddy (Teddy Bear) is a 5 month old mini-goldendoodle with a beautiful red coat. He is as sweet and playful as they come.
Teddy loves toys of all kinds and especially loves playing with his foster sister. He loves following his foster sister around and is learning a bunch of commands such as sit, stay, quiet. He is working on potty training and will wear a belly band when necessary. He does exceptionally well in his crate at night or during the day when his humans leave the house. He walks well in a leash with a harness.
Teddy loves cuddles and belly rubs.
Teddy's front left leg suffered a break which was not tended to prior to his rescue. Xrays were reviewed by an orthopedic vet who recommends waiting until skeletal maturation (4-5 months) to retake xrays to see how his bone and growth plate have developed. Surgery may or may not be necessary in the Teddy's future. (A full report from the vet along with x-rays will be made available to prospective adopters). For now, his leg has had no impact on Teddy's day to day walking, running and playing. He can do zoomies with the best of him.
Teddy has been vaccinated and is scheduled for neutering when he reaches 6 months. His coat will require regular grooming.
Teddy would love to be adopted by a family with another playful dog to run zoomies with and who will also set a good example for him to keep learning. He would also love a fenced yard so he can continue to run around and do zoomies!
