Meet Winnie
Winnie is about 5 months old, weighs 6 pounds and is a typical happy, playful puppy! She is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. She was rescued with her siblings from the streets near the border of Mexico. We are so happy they are all safe with us.
We can see Winnie doing well in a home where she can get lots of attention and playtime with her family. She is curious and also enjoys being held. She has a fun personality and is a typical curious, busy puppy. She enjoys playing with toys and her siblings.
She is just a fun-loving puppy who can’t wait to find a home of her own!
She would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment.
Winnie is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped
Winnie tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs.
