Samantha D. Dog Trainer Bio

Hi, my name is Sami. As a farm girl growing up, I had the unique experience of learning animal behavior and communication from early childhood. I’ve had the great pleasure of working with dogs for more than 20 years, and I began my journey as a professional trainer in 2021. I take great joy in helping pet parents build lasting bonds with their pets and teaching them how to communicate correctly. I’ve gained experience shadowing professional trainers, working in the veterinary industry, and as a kennel tech. I enjoy helping dogs and pet parents in many avenues of training, from basic and advanced obedience to trick training and off leash, I love setting dogs up for success. I have a passion for behavioral modification for nervous and anxious dogs to help them heal and trust again. In addition, I also love devoting my time and skills to service dog training to help handlers become independent again. Though I love all canines, I have extensive breed experience with larger breeds, high drive, and working dogs. I have four wonderful dogs – Ryker, Meika, Solomon, and Kahaia – that are the joys of my life. I can’t wait to speak with you about your pup and see how I can help you and your dog!
