With a decade of experience in training service dogs, I have worked with nearly two dozen canines, predominantly Labradors, across various breeds. My expertise encompasses not only basic obedience training but also specialized training tailored to the unique needs of clients, including those with PTSD, limited mobility, and hearing impairments. Additionally, I have mentored several trainers in the art of positive reinforcement training. I believe that dogs are more responsive and eager to please when they anticipate a reward for their behavior, recognizing that they are sentient beings with distinct personalities, which necessitates meticulous attention and patience.
