Years of hands-on experience have shaped Richard’s approach to positive reinforcement, especially when it comes to his furry companions. Recognizing that dogs respond better to positive treatment, Richard has cultivated a deep understanding of canine communication through his various life experiences. Richard’s journey has taken him through diverse lifestyles, yet a constant thread has been the presence of a loyal dog by his side. As an aviation mechanic, a yellow Lab accompanied him. During his exploration of philosophy and teaching Yoga, his faithful Australian Shepherd provided companionship. Even while shoeing horses, a Blue Heeler was a steadfast presence. Amidst the changes and insights that life brought, a dog was there to share in both the triumphs and challenges. Through these experiences, Richard has learned the invaluable lesson of unconditional love. His dogs, true to their nature, have been the living embodiment of this lesson, demonstrating unconditional love in action.
