Paige M. Dog Trainer Bio

Paige has over 10 years of animal training and handling experience. Paige got her start working at the San Diego Humane Society’s Behavior Center. There she worked as a certified animal trainer with a variety of challenging behaviors such as leash reactivity, resource guarding, stranger danger, lack of impulse control, destructive/escape behaviors, separation anxiety and aggression. Paige went on to work as a Sergeant in the Humane Law Enforcement department working with animals in the field and serving the community. After her time at the San Diego Humane Society, Paige worked at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park as an Animal Trainer working with a variety of exotic animals. Paige has a BS in Environmental Science from the University of San Diego and a dog training certification (KPA-CTP) from the Karen Pryor Academy. Paige believes in the science behind training and is passionate about positive reinforcement training. Just like people, dogs are individuals and their behavioral challenges should be approached as such. Paige can help with more severe behavioral challenges, behavior modification, obedience training, puppy training and new pet introductions.
