Trainer Bio
Hello! I’m Nicole, and I bring over ten years of experience in dog training and a Master’s degree in psychology to my work. My passion lies in understanding and shaping animal behavior. I’m committed to science-based, reward-driven training methods. My lifelong fascination with animal behavior has led me to gain extensive experience in the field, including a specialization in canine behavior at esteemed organizations like the MSPCA and Animal Rescue League. Armed with a Master’s in psychology, I’ve delved into the scientific study of behavior, exploring neuroscience, data analysis, and research methodologies. I develop behavior modification plans using positive reinforcement and train shelter dogs and cats using rewards-based, LIMA methods. My dedication includes countless hours studying academic research, which consistently supports the effectiveness of these methods for behavioral change. I’ve also had the honor of learning from renowned animal behaviorists, such as Dr. Terri Bright at the MSPCA, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see clients overcome their pets’ behavioral issues with our guidance.
