Certified Dog Trainer
Melanie became a professional dog trainer with the help of her reactive Australian Cattle Dog, Boomer using only reward-based training. Melanie has been training dogs for over 15 years. In that time, she has helped countless families build happy relationships and have fun with their dogs by applying modern positive reinforcement science-based training methods. Melanie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the CCPDT, a graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Program, an AKC CGC Evaluator, Fear Free Certified, Canine World Hoopers Instructor, a Certified Trick Dog Instructor and Stunt Judge with Do More with Your Dog. Melanie lives with 3 dogs and participates in Musical Canine Freestyle and trick training with her dogs.
