Maura M Dog Trainer Bio

I have working with and training dogs and horses for over 30yrs. Have worked with all ages of dogs and owners, and have done both private and group classes. I am certified in obedience training of dogs and was a CGC evaluator for AKC for many years. I have shown in obedience with my whippets, the breed ring with various breeds and in dog agility as well. I have knowledge of behavior issues from various classes I have taken over the years in handling dogs for my grooming business, as well as to help clients with in home issues. I enjoy working with all types of dogs from young to old with all different types of training needs. I find that my work with my rescued horses and the rescue dogs very rewarding when trust is found between myself and the animal. My dream of having a rescue for the animals that most have given up on and just need patience and time to trust again.
