Lauren B. Dog Trainer Bio

I have over 15 years experience with dogs. I’ve had a passion for dog training since I was a child. At the age of 12, I remember agility training our family German Shepherd in the backyard for fun!Today, I am a K9 Handler for tracking dogs/scent dogs. I trained my own tracking dog through Dogs Finding Dogs, and together we help locate missing/lost pets. When I am not working, I am volunteering at the SPCA. I believe that reward-based training is the most effective way of training and communicating with your dog. Dog training is not only about training dogs, but also about teaching pet parents to effectively communicate, read, and work with their dogs. I will help you understand what your dog is saying, how to read body language, identify triggers and causes for behaviors, and together we will follow a plan to help modify these problem behaviors.
