Trainer Bio

I have a passion for strengthening the bond between people and their dogs, I specialize in non-aversive, reward-based dog training methods that prioritize trust, communication, and long-term results. I offer a number of different training styles tailored to each dog’s unique personality and learning style. Through private training sessions, I work closely with clients to not only teach essential skills but also to empower them with practical homework strategies that reinforce learning at home. My goal is to help dogs and their families build lasting relationships rooted in mutual understanding and respect. With over a decade of hands-on experience in animal care and training, I bring a well-rounded and compassionate approach to helping dogs and their people thrive together. I worked as a veterinary technician for nine years, including a year alongside a veterinary behaviorist, where I deepened my understanding of animal behavior and the emotional needs of both pets and their owners. My background in veterinary medicine gives me a unique perspective on canine health and behavior, which I integrate into my work as a professional dog trainer. My focus is on building strong, positive bonds through non-aversive training methods, helping both dogs and their families develop trust, communication, and lasting results. At home, I share my life with two beloved dogs and six mischievous cats who love to steal affection whenever they get the chance. My mission is to support and guide clients in creating a balanced, loving relationship with their petsone that brings joy, confidence, and harmony into everyday life.
