Trainer Bio

Being passionate and versatile with different behavioral issues, I’ve worked with behavioral foster dogs with my mom since I was 12 years old and have prior experience being around professional Police K9s as my dad was a handler for 10 years. In Maryland I worked with family and friends training their dogs in basic obedience until moving to Fernley, NV in August of 2024 and landed a job working with behavior dogs at a local Reno animal shelter specializing in reactive, high arousal, jumpy/mouthy, and tougher to handle dogs who were on their last chance, but not ready to be adoption candidates at the time. I also have experience working with dogs who have issues in resource guarding, separation anxiety, touch sensitivities, stranger danger, and dogs who need simple socialization. My progression story I’m most proud of is my current dog who I got from a no-kill shelter in Georgia who was transferred to Maryland with an array of behavior issues, but I did not give up on him and over the course of 3 months I managed to help him overcome his challenges and get him certified as my personal Psychiatric Service Dog until retiring to my personal ESA after 7 years of service. I aim to make the learning experience a fun, pleasurable, and knowledgeable time for both dogs, owners, and myself.
