Trainer Bio
Hello, my name is Jake. I began training dogs at the age of eight years old our first dog Zoe, who was a boxer, and our second dog Max, who was a Rottweiler, both dogs that I took responsibility for in the way of training, walking and taking care of all the tasks associated with the responsibility of having our furry family members in our homes and taking care of at the highest level possible. I have trained hundreds of dogs and I love my career. The reason I love my career because I have a chance to, and I have had a 95% success rate in creating harmony, peace, balance, leadership obedience, and most importantly safety when it comes to dogs with aggressive issues behavioral modification needs extreme anxiety and jealousy of newborn babies, or change of circumstances within a home. When a dog joins your family, it becomes another child to take care of which I feel a lot of people don’t fully understand until they are in the middle of, what seems to be an impossible situation. What I do is work closely with the dog I assess, and please understand. I do not judge, but I do have to gain all the information needed in order to create solutions and change habits slowly within a household to make everybody’s lives better as well as the dog feel like he or she is a part of a family and not a nuisance, I have a five-year-old daughter, and when it comes to dogs, I think of them as children even if they are full grown adults they live to please the people who they love and you are their people. This bond in my opinion is one of the pure I have ever seen. I started rescuing dogs in Oakland California in 2011 for five years in Oakland. There are a lot of fighting events with dogs that unfortunately are for financial gains when those dogs don’t perform the way they are supposed to. They are let go a good friend of mine and I would Catch these dogs when of course we were able to. We would train them and find them homes. When it comes to problems with a family and their dog. There is never a reason to blame or point fingers because at the end of the day it is about learning what is needed to educate everyone to create a peaceful and fun environment again. I’ve done this for years, and I am good at what I do, I never blame but seek to ask questions regarding how we can better solve the problem slowly because change takes time. What I see a lot of families expect a dog to change within a week of training or even four weeks which a lot of companies will promise. I highly recommend staying away from any company that promises a result within a certain period of time just like people dogs, learn differently, and because of different breeds, they have different learning, styles, diets temperaments, and overall affection and needs of attention. This also creates a blueprint for our boundaries and how we can start to teach ourselves and our dogs together as a team. My goal is to help make your lives better and to create of the most special relationships in this world, which is between a human and their dog. I am available for any challenge, and if there is anything, I do not know how to do I will never pretend to, but we’ll see council advice and mentorship to do what is best for the situation at hand. I have extensive experience and full confidence that I can handle most situations, but it takes everyone cons working together and allowing the dog to understand that this is the new way of doing things no matter what it is we’re teaching them.
