Trainer Bio

Hello! My name is Elaina, and I have 12 years of experience as a dog trainer. As a U. S. Army Veteran, I spent 10 years training military dogs. I’ve completed a working dog trainers course and a train-the-trainer puppy program. My approach involves plenty of play and positive methods to teach dogs the difference between right and wrong. I’ve found that positive reinforcement works best, focusing on making training enjoyable and teaching dogs what to do and how to do it, rather than forcing them. Quality training sessions come from cooperation, not coercion. I’m excited to meet you and your canine companions! Remember, dogs aren’t human; it’s important to communicate with them in a way they understand, not by talking to them as if they were human.
