Trainer Bio

My passion for dogs started when I attended a puppy obedience class at my local veterinarian’s office. I knew then that my future would involve dogs. As an R Trainer, my focus is to build the bond between the owner and the dog by:Teaching desired behaviors along with stopping unwanted behaviors. Creating a Positive learning experience for both owner and dog. Educating owners about responsible dog ownership. Setting both you and the dog up for success!!!Graduate of Canine Academy, in Leander TX, I learned the foundations of my dog training skills that I still apply today. I continue to advance my skills by attending seminars hosted by renowned trainers such as Ian Dunbar, Pat Miller and Suzanne Clothier both online and in person. As the former owner of my own pet care facility, I hosted an array of different classes including Puppy Socialization, Puppy Basic Obedience, Adult Basic Obedience, as well one on one sessions with clients, totaling thousands of hours of working with clients and their dog(s). Over 20 years of experience working with dogs has evolved my skill set to include:~ Knowledge of canine health and nutrition~ Deep understanding of canine body language~ Animal handling~ Basic understanding of canine first aidBeing able to enhance the bond and communication between you and your dog is one of the most rewarding accomplishments a trainer can ask for.
