Certified Dog Trainer
My name is Caleb Galate, a professional trainer located in the West Atlanta Suburbs. I grew up with all kinds of dogs, from the small, excitable, yappy Chihuahuas to the giant, protectors, like the Old English Mastiff, and all kinds of breeds and mixes in between. I started my career right out of high school at a local training kennel, and my experience with so many dogs growing up, quickly helped me garner a promotion to “trainer” just months later. I trained under my first mentor there for a year, and later found myself learning from other top trainers and mentors in West Tennessee and subsequently, Central Texas. I have since become extremely proficient in several types of training. Including advanced obedience, agility, and service work, by way of a communication system called the “Marker System”. I am continuing to progress my abilities and am currently studying the processes of training protection/bite work and tracking. At some point, I found myself longing to return home to my family, friends, and the community that raised me. I am currently working towards building a sustainable business, that will educate the public on responsible dog ownership and training, keeping dogs alive and out of shelters, and improving the quality of life for both them and their families.
