Annie was a wilderness guide and instructor on horseback in the mountains of Coloradoand Idaho for many years, training both horses and “people about horses” while alsotraining herding dogs to work livestock. After getting her degree in Animal Science plus8 years of studying dog behavior and training, (Plus apprenticing with dog trainers) shestarted doing in home dog training sessions in 2015 with great success. “Dog training isall about People Training”, and once the dog’s people learn the language andpsychology of the dog, the dog’s good behavior falls right into place.” Annie specializesin teaching good manners, showing anxious dogs how to relax and enjoy life withoutanxiety, to walk nicely at your side on the leash, and showing leash-reactive dogs howto let that go and enjoy seeing other dogs coming near them. The dog’s people learn tobe calm and assertive with their dog and become great leaders and authority figures totheir dogall with positive reinforcement.
