Trainer Bio

My name is Angela. I have always trained dogs using my natural instincts rather than formal training. At the age of 29, after moving to Colorado, I started volunteering at the humane society. With the guidance of excellent mentors and teachers, I dedicated 20 years to the behavior program, attending two classes weekly, and achieved the highest level possible. I have much experience with different breeds, sizes, ages, and behaviors since majority of my experience was in the behavior program in a shelter environment. I have trained dogs to become service dogs, I have modified many dogs undesirable behaviors into dogs making better choices in which got those dogs into their forever homes and honestly, I will do all that I can to help a dog no matter what issues arise. From aggression to fearful with defense to completely shut down. My journey was interrupted when I was diagnosed with cancer. After my recovery, I moved to California to volunteer as a behaviorist at a small training facility, commuting frequently before settling there for six months. Subsequently, I relocated to Oklahoma and launched my own business, Makes Scents, but due to recurring illness, I managed to secure only a few clients. Now, I am healthy and eager to resume working with dogs.
