Heather C. Dog Trainer Bio

I developed a love for animals at a young age, getting my first job at 16 working with horses 6 days a week. After High School I spent a summer working with tigers, lions and large primates at a local animal park, before going on to get a 2 year college degree from Moorpark College in Southern Ca. in Exotic Animal Training with emphasis in Animal Behavior. I have 10 years’ experience training dogs using the positive reinforcement method – in obedience, family/pack dynamics and behavior modification. In my spare time I enjoy competing in agility, scentwork and other companion AKC dog show events and taking walks, hiking and camping with my dalmatian and chihuahua rescue mix. Outside of animals I am a mother to boy/girl twins, enjoy traveling, family game nights and a good movie.
