Alyssa M. Dog Trainer Bio

An avid animal fan, I have been working with them for as long as I have been able to! I shadowed dog grooming around 14, studied pre-vet for a time at UIUC, and have worked with animals for a total of about 5 years. In that time, I worked as a dog daycare and boarding manager for a bulk of it, and have about a year of official dog training experience. Passive training was often done in my dog daycare groups, so unofficial training was done through these careers as well! I have worked with all different dog breeds of all sizes and temperaments, so I am as comfortable with a happy puppy as one who may be a bit shy. With the experience I gain from here, I plan to go back to looking into becoming a certified trainer as soon as possible! I have 2 cats of my own, as well as 2 crested geckos and a sun conure. I hope to one day add a dog to my family again! I would love to get to know everyone and assist them in improving their relationship and communication with their pup!
