Kodiak H. Dog Trainer Bio

Hello, my name is Kodiak! I’m a certified positive-reinforcement trainer based in Connecticut. Since 2014, I have experience training dogs as both a handler and instructor. Ever since I’ve received care from service dogs for my own disabilities as a child, I developed a passion for animal behavior and have had the aspiration to help train companion and service dogs myself. I aim to build your confidence as a handler, and in a way that fosters a healthy human-canine relationship. I plan to meet each client where they are, and offer insight on how dogs learn and process information. Naturally, I am dedicated to staying up-to-date with the most humane and scientifically-backed training methods. Through working as a team, I am dedicated to improving your relationship, communication, and trust with your animal! From puppies to advanced, I would be more than happy to help you along your training journey.
