I have over 5 years of experience with dogs in rescue, dog daycares, and veterinary. I am obsessed with all things dog and dog behavior. I am currently working on my CCPDT certification. I have 2 dogs of my own, Korben and Gambit. Positive reinforcement only. Reinforcement drives behavior. Dogs are people pleasers. They WANT to make us happy. We just need to provide clear direction and plenty of repetitions to help them understand what we’re asking for.
