Chicki is a sweet, snuggly, affectionate Shih-tzu that is only 1 yr old. Her foster parents call her Dora the Explorer, because she loves to explore, especially outside. She is VERY food-motivated, which is great for training motivation. She understands “sit” and is great at catching treats mid-air.<\/p>\n
She and her sister came to her foster family very fearful, and wouldn’t leave her cage area and would just freeze if they set her down in the grass. Once they came out of their shells, they learned the ropes of going potty outside. Chicki loves to chase and bark at squirrels and birds, and thinks she’s quite the huntress, but really, the squirrels and birds just look at her and sometimes seem to mess with her. They are not impressed and seem to know he hunting skills are lacking.<\/p>\n
