Meet Brandy — A Sweet Young Boy Ready to Discover What Home Really Means
Brandy is a beautiful 6-month-old boy with a tender heart, a playful personality, and a whole world still waiting for him to discover. Expected to be around 25 lbs fully grown, he’ll be a wonderful small-sized companion.
Right now, Brandy is getting his first real taste of what family life can be.
Brandy is being fostered in Manhattan with a wonderful family and three cats, and he is settling beautifully into life in a home. He loves attention and enjoys following his fosters around because, more than anything, Brandy wants to be part of whatever his people are doing.
He goes on daily walks and is incredibly curious about everything around him. The sights, sounds, smells, people, and activity of the city are all part of his new world, and he is taking it in one adventure at a time.
He is crate trained, although given the choice, Brandy would much rather relax on his bed near his foster family. He simply loves being close to his people.
Brandy has plenty of puppy spirit. He loves to play, can be goofy and mischievous, and enjoys the company of other dogs. But underneath that playful exterior is a sensitive young dog who is still learning about the world and discovering what it feels like to be safe and loved.
His beginning was anything but ordinary.
Brandy and his siblings were abandoned as tiny puppies in front of SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, a shelter we support. They were completely helpless and far too young to survive on their own.
Thankfully, they were brought to safety.
They received veterinary care, nutritious food, shelter, and the kindness they should have known from the very beginning. Slowly, those frightened and vulnerable babies grew stronger and blossomed into beautiful young dogs.
Brandy survived the hardest part of his story. Now he is ready for the best part — finding someone who will show him what it means to truly belong.
His foster family is allowing him to experience the world at his own pace while helping him build confidence through consistency, encouragement, and positive experiences.
At only 6 months old, Brandy has so much ahead of him. He is young, curious, eager to learn, and at a wonderful age to form an incredible bond with the person or family who chooses him.

• Microchipped
• Fully vaccinated
• Dewormed
• Heartworm tested
• On flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
