Meet once ("on-say")
*Once is in foster in Belmar, New Jersey.*
Meet Once (pronounced, "on-say" which means 11 in Spanish!)
He is a young ENERGETIC, social puppy of approx. 9.5 months old and weighs about 34 lbs now, and will fill out to be a smaller medium sized dog (maybe 40 lbs?). He LOVES activity: running, jumping, playing, swimming. He has more energy and happiness than we've seen in awhile, lol.
He is very friendly with humans, and is doing great socializing with other dogs of all sizes and abilities (although his puppy energy sometimes causes a miss in doggie queues to slow down!). We are working on walking on the leash, having a routine, and recall (which is AWESOME for his young age). He's very smart (and treat motivated in addition to his human love motivation), so he's going to be a really great addition to any home. He has been introduced to horses, cows, chickens, and other small farm animals and needs a little coaxing to not chase the small ones, but listens well! He has soooo much love to give, and is not prejusticed in any way on what living soul should receive it!
His cute, soft, coat and warm eyes will steal your heart. His subtle tan spots on his ears are proof of the beauty our mixed breeds from the island carry. He will be a great dog, but definitely is a "puppy", so training and patience as he is on his journey to adulthood is a must.
