Meet bean
Bean is a sweet, goofy, and affectionate dog. She was adopted from the city shelter earlier this year after being found as a stray.Bean knows basic commands, is crate trained, likes to play fetch, and loves belly rubs (and is not shy about asking).Since coming home, Bean has shown increasing anxiety, like an inability to settle and excessive licking/biting of herself when left alone. Outside, she struggles with leash reactivity, particularly around dogs (esp. barking ones). In those moments, she may lunge or thrash, which can be difficult to manage given her size.Unfortunately, my neighborhood is not a good fit for her. I live in a high-traffic area with many dogs and loud noises, which often pushes Bean over her threshold.I would love to find Bean a calmer home with a private yard where she can enjoy being outside without constant exposure to people or dogs. She would also do best with someone who is home consistently and can give her structure, patience, and stability.
