Meet Mara!A 15lb, 1-year-old, Patterdale Terrier mix who came to us as a stray and is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She can be skittish and unsure when meeting new people, and it takes her a little time to feel comfortable. But once she warms up, her loving and playful personality begins to shine through.She enjoys gentle affection, playful moments, and being close to the people she trusts. Loud dogs can make her a bit timid, so she would do best in a calm home that will allow her to build confidence at her own pace.This sweet pup is looking for a patient, understanding family willing to give her the time and space she needs to settle in. With kindness and consistency, she’s sure to become a loving companion.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
