Meet simba
Simba is a 2.5-year-old Cane Corso with fear-based anxiety and separation anxiety. He has no bite history, but because of his size, his fearful behaviors can sometimes be intimidating. He is highly food and toy-motivated, knows basic commands, and responds well to training when reinforced consistently. He does well at home overall, but struggles more in unfamiliar environments and with anxiety-related behaviors.
Due to my responsibilities as a full-time teacher and graduate student, I no longer have the time, financial flexibility, or lifestyle needed to properly support his behavioral needs long term. I have tried multiple strategies including training, diet changes, calming supplements, increased exercise, white noise, and environmental adjustments, but his anxiety continues to require more support than I can realistically provide.
I am looking for a patient, experienced home that understands large breeds and is willing to continue working with him.
