Bear has a steady and grounded personality. He takes in the world around him with quiet confidence and enjoys having a routine. Whether he’s exploring outside, going for a walk, or simply laying nearby watching over his home, Bear is happiest when he feels connected to his people. He has a calm, reassuring presence that makes him an easy dog to bond with.
Like his brother Bruno, Bear is intelligent and benefits from structure and consistency. He thrives with clear expectations and positive guidance, and he will do best in a home that understands working or shepherd-type breeds. With the right balance of mental stimulation and physical activity, Bear will truly shine.

Bear is currently fostered in Texas.
Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep’s Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs by video call (Skype, FaceTime, or similar).
Adoption fee: $350$13 microchip registrationHealth certificate: $50–$75Transport fee applies if out of state (varies by location)
